Reading Notes: The Wolf-Mother of Saint Ailbe

(Wolves howling: Pixabay)

I enjoyed reading The Wolf-Mother of Saint Ailbe. I really liked the details in this story. Since the wolf mother was caring and took care of this baby, she probably had a lot of emotions. I could write this story again in her perspective. I think it would be really interesting to tell this same story in her point of view so we can see what was running through her mind. I liked how in the beginning of the story, the child was abandoned by his real parents but throughout the story, we was wanted by others. It proves a point that not all people are bad. There are still the good ones out there. Also, you would think that the wolf would turn him into supper for her own kids but that was not the case. They depicted the wolf as a nice and caring mother wolf. I really liked her character and I feel like a new story focusing on her would be interesting.
