Reading Notes: Saint Blaise and His Beasts

( Tiger and baby tiger: Wikimedia Commons)

Saint Blaise and His Beasts was an interesting story. From the title, I thought he only cared about animals but he cared for people as well. I like how he was the son of a wealthy family and was still caring and felt sympathy for everything. In the story, it just talks about Saint Blaise but I think I could add another character. Saint Blaise is such a good person that I would want to change the ending of this story. I want it to be a happy ending. He can meet a girl in the woods who also loved animals.  Maybe like a princess or something. Although someone wanted Saint Blaise dead, since he was such a good Christian, he had powers and all the animals and people whom he helped protected him. I could change the character who wanted him dead to be a person that wanted to kill one of his animal friends but couldn’t. This character didn't want to kill the animal for food but just for fun.
